Prohibited goods
Global Mario is a marketplace for companies and individuals from different countries. We do not list some goods: some are prohibited by law, others by the rules of payment systems through which transactions are processed.
This is not a formality. If a payment system detects a violation, it can freeze the seller's money and close their account, and the marketplace cannot influence this decision.
Below: what cannot be sold at all, what can be sold with documents, and what a listing should look like.
1. Completely prohibited
Weapons
- firearms, cold weapons, pneumatic weapons and ammunition
- explosives and pyrotechnics of any class, including firecrackers, fireworks and salutes
- components: magazines, silencers, sights for combat weapons
Drugs and psychoactive substances
- narcotic drugs and precursors
- smoking mixtures and substances sold as "legal alternatives"
Tobacco and nicotine
- cigarettes, tobacco, hookah mixtures
- electronic cigarettes, vaporizers, liquids with nicotine
Medicines
- prescription drugs, vaccines, injectable products
- any goods with promises to cure a disease
Counterfeits and stolen goods
- counterfeit, replicas, brand copies
- goods without confirmed origin
Living things and human materials
- live animals
- protected species and products made from them: ivory, corals, furs, taxidermy
- organs, tissues, blood and other human biomaterials
Money and financial instruments
- cryptocurrency, top-up codes, prepaid cards
- money transfers, debt obligations, company shares
- gambling, betting, lottery tickets
Security bypass and surveillance
- malware, hacking tools, skimmers
- signal jammers, hidden recording and surveillance devices
- keys and licenses obtained by bypassing the rights holder
Documents and data
- identity documents, diplomas, driver's licenses, license plates
- personal data databases, contact lists
Adult content and illegal material
- 18+ materials, intimate services
- materials inciting hatred or calling for violence
Sanctions
- goods of individuals and companies included in the sanction lists of the EU, UN, USA or UK
- goods whose import or export is restricted by sanction regimes. The restriction applies based on the country of origin of the goods — regardless of who is selling it
2. Allowed, but with conditions
These goods can be listed if you have the necessary documents and comply with the rules of your country and the buyer's country. We may request documents, and the carrier or customs may refuse to accept the shipment without them.
Alcohol
Only for companies with a license to trade in alcohol. Delivery is not possible to all countries.
Food products
Labeling in the buyer's country language, expiration date, temperature conditions, health certificates.
Supplements and cosmetics
No medical claims: "cures", "relieves disease" and similar.
Chemicals and hazardous materials
Hazard class, safety data sheet, compliance with transport rules.
Medical devices
CE marking and registration where required.
Plants, seeds, animal products
Phytosanitary and veterinary certificates.
Electronics with lithium batteries
Compliance with battery transport rules.
Antiques and cultural values
Permission to export from the country of origin.
Used goods
Allowed with honest description of condition and signs of use.
3. What a listing should be
- Photos of your own goods, not taken from the internet.
- Real price. Listings with "contact for price" instead of a cost amount are not published.
- One product — one listing. Duplicates are removed.
- Description matches what you will actually ship: quantity, condition, completeness.
- The HS code is indicated if the goods are being shipped outside your customs union.
4. What happens if you violate the rules
- The product is removed from the listing. You will receive a notification with the reason.
- For repeated violations, publication of all your products is suspended.
- For serious violations, the account is closed and incomplete orders are cancelled.
Separately: the marketplace cannot return funds frozen or withheld by the payment system. This is a decision made by Stripe or PayPal, and they make it independently.
5. If you are unsure
Write to support before you list the product. It is easier for us to answer a question in advance than to deal with a removed listing and a cancelled order.
Requirements for sellers themselves — who can trade on the marketplace and what checks must be passed — are described on a separate page "Seller Requirements".
