HS code, category and delivery countries
Why the code is needed
The HS code determines which countries the product can be shipped to. Without the code, a product with international delivery will not appear in the storefront — it is only sold in your own country and the customs union.
How to specify
In the product card next to the category there is a code field. The platform tries to select the code itself based on the product name and description: if it is confident, it sets it; if not, it shows the closest options to choose from. Mario also selects the category — first enter the product name.
If the selected category does not match the code, the code goes to the administrator for review. Until confirmation, the product is sold only in your country and the customs union.
Delivery countries
- You can select the whole world or mark countries manually. If "the whole world" is selected, you CANNOT exclude individual countries from it: to remove some countries, unselect "the whole world" and mark the necessary ones manually.
- The cabinet shows import restrictions by code: where import is prohibited, where documents are required (certificates, permits, veterinary clearance), where there are restrictions not tied to the code.
- Private sellers do not have access to countries with any code-related restrictions: certificates and permits are issued only to companies. Companies are closed only for countries with a direct ban.
- The restriction data is for reference only. The seller is responsible for the legality of the shipment.
